Intellectual Property Policy

Last Updated: 20/02/2025

Psycademy, operated under ManoYug Well-being And Education Ventures Private Limited, respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users, including instructors, to do the same. Psycademy is a technology platform enabling individuals to create and share educational content. However, we do not review or edit content for legal issues and are not in a position to determine its legality.

Infringing activity is not tolerated on or through our platform.

This policy addresses copyright and trademark takedown notices concerning content on the Psycademy platform and what steps we take when instructors’ content is copied without consent on third-party platforms.

1. Copyright Takedown Notices

1.1 How to File a Copyright Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on Psycademy infringes your copyright and you are the copyright owner or authorized agent, you may submit a copyright complaint. You can contact our designated agent (see Section 5) with the required details:

  • Your full legal name and contact information.
  • A description of the copyrighted material.
  • The URL or exact name of the infringing content and the instructor.
  • A statement affirming your good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized.
  • Your signature (electronic or physical).

Knowingly submitting a false or misleading takedown notice is illegal and can lead to liability. Psycademy reserves the right to seek damages for fraudulent claims.

1.2 Counter-Notification

If your content has been reported and removed due to copyright infringement but you believe this to be an error, you may submit a counter-notification including:

  • Your name and contact details.
  • Identification of the removed content and its previous location.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake.
  • A statement consenting to legal jurisdiction in India.

2. Trademark Takedown Notices

2.1 How to File a Trademark Takedown Notice

If your Psycademy course appears on another platform without permission, we take piracy seriously. Report unauthorized copies of your content via our third-party infringement reporting form. We will work with an anti-piracy vendor to seek removal of the infringing material.

4. Consequences of Intellectual Property Violations

If a user repeatedly violates intellectual property rights, Psycademy reserves the right to:
