At Psycademy, we strive to ensure a satisfactory learning experience for all our users. If the content you purchased is not what you expected, you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase, subject to the conditions outlined in this policy. This refund policy applies only to individual course purchases and not to subscription plans, which are governed by separate terms.
1. Refund Eligibility
- Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase if the request meets the conditions mentioned in this policy.
- If the course you purchased is later removed due to legal or policy reasons, you will be eligible for a refund even beyond the 30-day limit.
- Refunds may be issued as a refund credit or returned to your original payment method, depending on our payment service provider’s capabilities.
- No refund requests will be entertained after 30 days unless required by law or under exceptional circumstances such as account fraud.
2. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow the steps provided in your Psycademy account settings or contact our support team. Refunds will be processed as per our policy guidelines.
3. Refund Restrictions
We reserve the right to deny refund requests in the following cases:
- If a significant portion of the course has already been consumed or downloaded.
- If a student has requested multiple refunds for the same course.
- If a student has an excessive refund history, which suggests misuse of the refund policy.
- If a user’s account has been banned or reported due to violations of our Instructor Terms or Trust & Safety Guidelines.
- If a refund for the same transaction has already been processed by a third-party payment provider.
- Subscription purchases made via mobile applications (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) cannot be refunded through Psycademy. Users must refer to Apple’s or Google Play’s refund policies.
- Certain payment methods, such as bank and cash transfers, Boleto Bancário, Pix, Oxxo, Alfamart, or Indomaret, may only be eligible for refund credits.
4. Credit-Only Refunds
In cases where cash refunds are not possible, Psycademy Credits may be issued instead, which can be used for future course purchases on our platform.
5. Subscription Plan Refunds
- Subscription plans purchased through Psycademy.com do not offer a 30-day refund guarantee unless required by law.
- If you enrolled in a free trial, you may cancel at any time before the trial period ends to avoid charges.
- Refunds for subscriptions purchased via iOS (Apple) or Android (Google Play) must be requested directly from Apple or Google Play, as Psycademy does not process these transactions.
6. Refunds for Third-Party Transactions
- Bundles purchased through third-party vendors: Refunds must be requested directly from the vendor.
- Courses purchased through third-party sales or promotions: Refund requests must be handled by the third party offering the course.
7. Misuse of Refund Policy
At our discretion, we may deny refunds, limit future refund requests, or ban user accounts if we determine that refund policies are being misused.
